Wolves Visit the Mountain

March 16, 2022, Wednesday

11 am–3 pm, 12:30 pm presentation by Wolfwood Refuge director, Paula Watson

Are you fascinated by wolves, always having wanted to see one up close? This is your chance to meet and learn about these beautiful animals. Kids and adults alike can marvel and learn about these majestic creatures. The director of Wolfwood Refuge, Paula Watson, will give an educational presentation.


Durango Bluegrass Meltdown

April 22, 23, & 24, 2022, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

Starting Friday at 5 pm and continuing through Sunday evening. Check out the schedule here!

The 2022 Durango Bluegrass Meltdown is bringing the sound of strings to the San Juan Mountain Valley for the whole weekend! Pick your venues and check out bands like, The Meltdown Sisters, FY5, Crooked Measures, Chain Station, The Special Consensus, The Blue Moon Ramblers, and many more! Buy your tickets for the whole weekend right here and get to toe-tappin’!

$110 advanced/120 full for whole weekend; Saturday only $70/80, Sunday only $45/50.


Durango Wine Experience

April 29–May 1, 2022, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

Walkabout Durango Tasting, Friday 4 pm–7 pm; The Grand Tasting, Saturday 3:30 pm–6:30 pm; Unique Tastings, Sunday; Full schedule here.

Downtown Durango- Various Locations

A three day event with seminars, wine dinners, tastings, and more! There will be hundreds of wineries, several Colorado artisan spirit distillers, craft beer brewers, and local chefs serving up tastings and knowledge over the course of the weekend. The Walkabout encourages you to visit multiple venues spread throughout town, learning about the tasty libations and getting a true sense of downtown Durango. And The Grand Tasting will be the culmination of this food and wine extravaganza with countless vendors and the finest cuisine!

Buy weekend passes here, $125, $25 add on an etched Riedel wine glass; prices will go up  closer to event!


Durango Farmer’s Market

May 14, 2022, Saturday

8 am–12 pm, Every Saturday through October

The first day of the 2022 Durango Farmer’s Market is May 14th! Come enjoy produce, meats, cheeses, herbs, flowers, drinks, and artisan goods! All of this grown or produced by local vendors. The perfect place to bring the family (but unfortunately, not the pooch!) for a relaxing morning picking up some fresh goods, enjoying the local crowd, and bobbing your head to some live tunes.   


Taste of Durango

May 15, 2022, Sunday

11 am–4 pm. Live Music! 11 am–2 pm

Downtown Durango- You can get into the festival at the south side of 7th & Main, on the north side of 11th & Main, on the West side of Main at 8th & Main and on the East side of 9th & Main

Durango’s premier food and drink festival will be the perfect spring outing! This event features tons of local vendors supplying delicious cuisine and tasty libations, complemented with fun, friends, dancing, and music. Bring the whole family! Pay nothing to attend, but you will need to purchase drink and food tickets. Benefits go to local non-profits! 


Iron Horse Bicycle Classic

May 28–30, 2022, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic by signing up or watching the road, gravel, and mountain bike races! An entire weekend of race events for everyone, children and adults, experts and novices. Register here or just cheers the entrants on, either way this is bound to be rip-roaring event!
