  • Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, in North America. The 14,115-foot (4,302.31 m) fourteener is located in Pike National Forest.

  • Old Colorado City was founded during the PIkes Peak Gold Rush in 1859, and was added to the National Register of Historic Districts in 1982. Visit the quaint tourist area, with boutiques, art galleries and restaurants.
